Baby Stuff

So, I finally bought my first baby items today. I say finally when I'm only 3 months pregnant because if you know me then you know I have really held off. (I was at Baby's R Us within 30 minutes of finding out I was pregnant, true story!!) I am crazy I know. I have been researching things like crazy and decided I didn't need to wait to find out the gender because I really wanted gender neutral stuff when it comes to the items I purchased today. These are all from the same collection and have all 5 star ratings on Baby's R Us website. I did however buy them from Burlington Coat Factory for exactly $160 less than Baby's R Us. Same exact items for that much less. They were not only less to begin with, but on sale too! Yeah! I did so good all four of these essential items for $360 plus tax. I have been saving the money I made subbing for the baby and want to buy a couple things a month. I bought so many this time because of the sale. I just LOVE my new stuff!!

Battle of the Bands State Championship

Spunky Motors will be competing this Saturday in the "Battle of the Bands" state competition. I am so excited for them and can't wait. Wish them luck!!!

10 weeks

Because of all my medical problems I get to go to the OB every week. Today was fun. I got to see the baby moving around like crazy and hear the heartbeat. That just made my day. They scheduled my surgery to put three huge stitches in my cervix for April 7th. They will put me under I guess which is different than last time. Last time they only gave me an epidural and put in one stitch. I could still feel the pressure of poking and prodding and it was so weird. So I guess I just take a nap this time. I also have a fatty tumor between my legs (TMI?) they will be removing. That will cause some pain for a while he said. Oh goody for me. I am still not on insulin yet, but eventually it will happen. My labs looked wonderful and everything is lookin' good. I am so excited about this baby I can't even stand it! Dennis has gotten over his shock and is now super excited too. So this is Baby Ige's update until next time!

Baby Update

So, as you can see my little blob of a baby is getting bigger and much cuter. I know it looks like a blob to you still, but I can totally make out it's cute little body parts. They also knocked 2 days off my due date and it is now the 11th of October. 2 less days to go yeah!! Everything is looking good, but that hospital trip and insulin are on the horizon. I go to a nutritionist tomorrow for 3 hours hope it helps!!

Thanksgiving?

Okay, so I have totally turned into lazy mom. We eat dinner at the counter and in different shifts whenever people are home. All together in the same room, well that hasn't happened for a long time. I felt like I really needed to start doing it again everyday. So, today was the first day and I asked Emily to set the table. She looked at me like I was retarded (as usual) and said, "Why it's not Thanksgiving?" Oh boy, have I been a bad mom. my daughter thinks you only eat dinner together once a year. I guess it's never too late to start a new tradition that used to be an old tradition. I swear when they were smaller we always ate dinner together at the table EVERY night. So, I confess and am improving my ways!!!
